The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Sometimes you need to do crazy things and think out of the box to accomplish great things (or fail ;-)
Anyway the INZPFM *DLT and RECNO() has been advised already and is maybe part of the solution.

it!!!
But RPG could do such nonsens. Just define the file with recno(rrn),
appending records could be done with INZPFM records(*DLT) totrcds(10) in
your case.
