<Paul>
I was wondering if there's a method to write a record at specific RRN in a file.
The RRN will not exist yet, so for example I have a file with RRN 1, 2 and 3... and I want to write RRN 10.
</Paul>

INZPFM myfile records(*DLT) totrcds(10)

dcl-f MYFILE disk recno(RRN) usage(*output) ;
dcl-s RRN packed(10) ;

RRN = 10 ;

// fill in your values

write MYFILE ;

Don't do this nonsens, think about the design!!!
