No it's 128 fixed character field. It's defined by Brad's GETURI tool
copybook.

Is path a varchar ? The you need %addr(path:*data) .. Otherwise you will
give it the length (short int) as part of the name..

Renaming it didn't work. I used a wild card in WRKLNK and also used
EDTF
'/tmp/wc/images/post_out.json', both show the file fine.

Did you use a wild card to look for the file?

WRKLNK '/tmp/wc/images/post_out*'

Debugging a program that stopped working recently. I think this
code
was
copied from Simon, Liam also has a version.

PathFile = '/tmp/wc/images/post_out.json' + x'00' ;
OpenMode = 'r' + x'00' ;
FilePtr = OpenFile(%addr(PathFile):%addr(OpenMode)) ;

FilePtr is Null.

PATHFILE = '/tmp/wc/images/post_out.json█ '
OPENMODE = 'r█ '

The block character is x'00.

I am able to view the file using WRKLNK:
Object link
/tmp/wc/images/post_out.json

Authority is public *RWX for all directories in the hierarchy.

Where else can I look? Thanks
