Art,

This is just a "best guess" for one possibility:

IFS like AIX and Unix etc. will allow a file name with trailing blanks in it... but you cannot "see" them in WRKLNK ... :-/

In WRKLNK, try option "7=Rename", and rename it to the same name, without any trailing blanks?

An erroneous program could have created such a file name ...

Also use option 9 to see the authorities on that file.

Debugging a program that stopped working recently.  I think this code was
copied from Simon, Liam also has a version.

PathFile = '/tmp/wc/images/post_out.json' + x'00' ;
OpenMode = 'r' + x'00' ;
FilePtr = OpenFile(%addr(PathFile):%addr(OpenMode)) ;

FilePtr is Null.

PATHFILE = '/tmp/wc/images/post_out.json█                    '
OPENMODE = 'r█  '

The block character is x'00.

I am able to view the file using WRKLNK:
Object link
/tmp/wc/images/post_out.json

Authority is public *RWX for all directories in the hierarchy.

Where else can I look? Thanks
