The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Unfotunately the IBMi HTTP* services that use Java are incompatible with
your custom Java. IBM ignores the CLASSPATH when starting the JVM, so if
they start the JVM then your Java will fail. If your code starts the JVM,
then IBM's Java will fail.

I would call this a software defect!
BTW: I wouldn't use this malware anyway, it's starting a JVM in each job,
you are using it, eating up your ressources: good for IBM, expensive for
you. For java integration to RPG, I wouldn't use the JNI support of the RPG
compiler. Running your Java asynchronous in a dedicated JVM is much faster,
more stable and scales much better. Using open source AppServer4RPG it's
rather easy to implement.
