Hi Orlando,

Sorry, I do not understand.  What is \PDN in your URL?  What does it mean?  Why is it there?

Please navigate to the following link, it is the documentation for the JTDS driver that you are using.  There is a section in the document titled "What is the URL format used by jTDS?" that explains the format of the URL and what may be in it.

http://jtds.sourceforge.net/faq.html

I do not see anything similar to the "\PDN" that you have in your URL.

Also, your post contained passwords.  These are now publicly visible on the Internet.  Please consider changing them.

Good afternoon Scott

This is the configuration that I use to access a microsoft sql server
database.

when it is a test environment the configuration is

prop = JDBC_Properties();
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'user' : 'GEpicor');
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'password' : '1wer@25a);
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'databaseName' : 'dbEpiTests');
conn = JDBC_ConnProp('net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver'
:'jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://SRVWINDLLO:1433'
: prop );
where the server is SRVWINDLLO. the process works correctly. OK

when it is a production environment the configuration is

prop = JDBC_Properties();
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'user' : 'GEpicor');
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'password' : 'xuu1$45@');
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'databaseName' : 'dbEpiProduction');
conn = JDBC_ConnProp('net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver'
:'jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://SQLSRVPRO\PDN:1433'
: prop );

In production the server is SQLSRVPRO\PDN. Here the process interprets the
last part of the server path as the database and marks the error PDN
database does not exist.

I appreciate any guidance you can give me

Hi Orlando,

What is a PDN? (Not a public data network?) Why would it be in your
connection string? Can you give us an example?

Good evening:
I am using jdbcr4 to connect to microsoft sql server database through

Klement's software. The connection string has the following
characteristics: servername \ PDN, where PDN is part of the connection
string. When I try to connect, the system interprets PDN as the database
and returns the error: PDN database does not exist. Anyone have any idea
how to solve this problem. Thank you
