Are you saying that after that line of code, both indicators 10 and 20 were off ('0')...?

And just for grins to identify the compiler - is this RPG36, RPG, RPGLE ? What OS Version?
And any special compiler overrides like FIXNBR or ALWNULL?

And "finding a LO condition" - how low... like a very low hex value (below x'40')?
