Can we summarize:-

Binding directory can have service programs and service programs can have
ile programs and ile programs can have modules.
So size wise binding directory biggest and module is smallest in terms of
capacity?

Joe, thank you for the links. I had googled with bad results because my
search words were not right.

Sure would like to see some of our RPG speaker stars do Youtube 12 to
18 minute tutorials (that's about as long as I can stay focused at one
time).

The whole green screen tutorial video thing fascinates me so my request
is biased; still, the rest of the programming world does seem to lean
heavily on video tutorials to pass on tribal knowledge. Maybe we need
to catch up?

You need to understand subroutines vs. procedures, and procedures vs.

Then you can understand service programs in more detail:

You also need to understand binding, especially static vs. dynamic:

I suggest Googling RPG service programs; that's how I got to these
great articles. The authors of the first two articles, Thomas Snyder
and David Shirey, have written extensively. The Go4AS400 site (the
last article) has a ton of tutorial information. Also look
specifically for things written by Jon Paris, Susan Gantner and
Barbara Morris (among many others). Be sure to check the comments on
the articles.
