I would use a parameter that has a return code to inform the CL what the
status is of the first and second calls. In this way you can control what
happens.

True. But then the most generic one or (a) specific one(s)

Without knowing the conditions for running pgm2, I just put down a generic
sk;eton of a CLP PGM.

You should add a MONMSG in there to catch any errors in pgm1 - without
that pgm2 can run even when it shouldn't.

Hi,

I am trying to write a CL prgram which should call two independent RPGLE
Programs,
I am trying this to club these 2 different RPGLE programs so that they
should run in a same job but problem is that these 2 RPGLE programs are
very complex and have different if else conditions so how can I club
them
together also once first RPGLE program gets completed then only
secondone
should be invoked.

Thanks
