I agree it's unrealistic.   And yet, some companies insist on it.  Why?  Because they've always done it that way.  Obviously nobody reviews ALL the pages.  But rather than get a summary and then perform another more detailed query for targeted data, the users insist on the whole thing (so that they can review it at home???).

Other cases are audit reports, where the auditors don't actually understand the underlying data, but they have a checklist they need to mark off, so they demand things like "every time an item master is changed".  Even though your system updates a net change flag every day, which means that at a minimum every item is touched every day.
