That's sometimes true, operative word, "sometimes". I always have the "md /QNTC/xxxxx' in the start up program with a MONMSG. That way when it is true, no big deal, when it's not, it solves the problem before it starts.

In my experience, shares on the same subnet remain, while shares on other subnets must be added in QSTRUP for IPL.
