In my experience, shares on the same subnet remain, while shares on other subnets must be added in QSTRUP for IPL.

After a PTF, sometimes people do an IPL.
Often after an IPL one has to do a MD '/QNTC/MyServer' to get to that server for the first time after that IPL. Can you do a WRKLNK '/QNTC/MyServer/*' and see the shares on that target?
