Just to clarify... I connect to one system and one system only. And I still see this issue occasionally.

I've found it best to right-click on a member in RSE view, and use "Copy Members To..." to create new source members (or a copy of the current member).

If I have seen this problem it is very rare for me.
I don't usually connect to multiple systems though.

I tend to create new members by right clicking a member from a Member filter under RSE and selecting the Copy Member(s) to option from the context menu.
This seems to work pretty well for me.

I have seen very strange behavior (at times) when using Save-As to

Once you have created a new source member and saved, I would restart RDi.

Hi,
No one else in the source. In fact the source does not show up
in either SEU or RDI. She only has it because she has it open. We kind
of got around it by opening a new source member and coping all line
into the new one. Then everything was ok. The same thing happened for the DDS member.

Someone else in the source via SEU?

Hi,
I have a new programmer who has been working on an existing
program using RDI. She is ready to save it and has used save and
save
as.
It comes up with a window asking for the remote system connection,
which

is correct, says OK, then it comes up a second time. It does not save.
There is also no option to compile. Tried changing perspectives, but
still
does not show up. Do not want to exit this source and loose all the
changes. Other code works ok. Any ideas on why this one source
program
is
not working correctly? It is SQLRPGLE.
