Betreff: CCSID for named constants?
Is there any good way to set CCSID for named constants? I had hoped that
the
compiler could figure it out, but alas no. Here's a snippet of what I'd
like to
do.
Dcl-s variable varChar(255) ccsid(*utf8) ;
Dcl-c constant ';' ;
If %scan(constant :variable) > 0;
Endif;
The compiler doesn't like that (RNF0353: The first and second parameters of
%SCAN or %SCANR are not of the same type.). I've got it working now by
using
hex constants, but that's kind of a pain to work with.
TIA
