How big?

RPG can only handle 16MB...
C/C++ can handle 2GB

Once you have the BLOB in memory, it's as simple as opening a PRTF defined
with TYPE(*USERASCII) and writing the data through that printf.

Take a look at the code for Scott's PRTSTMF,
http://www.scottklement.com/PrtStmf.zip
You'll see that all it does it read the file from the IFS and write it to a
*USERASCII print file.

You'll need the resulting spool file sent to a ASCII printer that
understands PDF (aka PDF-Direct mentioned by others).
