My knee-jerk reaction is 1 of 2 things.

1. Was a Z-Add something else into fielda and code was "taken" out.
2. Pgmr added line for debug. Line to land on in do/if.

Results are that fielda stays the same.

Yes, factor 2, and the result columns are the same variable name. This appears twice (for different fields) as part of a segment of code that seems to do much more work than it needs to accomplish a calculation. Anyway, having a little trouble getting my head around what the results of this would be. It is in a much larger loop that processes different records each iteration.
