We use the GENERATED ALWAYS ... ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP for the same
purpose -- at UPDATE time to insure that a row hasn't already been changed
by another process since the last time the current process retrieved the
row content. Therefore, we get two benefits from using a timestamp
instead of a token.
