I ahem no idea what i was thinking when I wrote that John - I was in a hurry. But your interpretation was not it. Auto-correct may have played a part <grin>.

I think I meant to say that they weren't oriented to the task the OP was trying to address.

My apologies John - that will teach me to rely on my brain from the days when I worked on the compiler without checking the docs to see if anything had changed. You are correct it appears. I must say I'm amazed - I had no idea they had made that change.

For clarification, I'm sure that was supposed to be apologies to Joni.

There are a number of projects out there that provide the notion of dynamic arrays for RPG but I doubt any are oriented towards RPG.

I don't know what this could mean. They are *for* RPG... but somehow
not "oriented towards" RPG?

The only thing I can imagine you mean is that they are not "in the
style" of RPG, or somehow do not "feel like" RPG.

Well, that may be so. But I would think that's mainly because RPG
doesn't have anything like them. And by its nature, RPG is not a very
extensible language. So anything of significance that you add to it is
going to feel quite foreign.
