I'd tend to agree with this. Gifted amateurs, in general, can go only so
far.


I think the point was that some if not most of the low-code platforms are
not really geared to support enterprise-class scope and performance
requirements, which I agree with. But couldn't a low-code platform designed
for IBM i, support enterprise-class workloads?


IMHO, a good database design is absolutely critical for any successful
project and leaving this to unskilled staff is counter productive.

Now I suppose if you consider low-code as a form of Agile development than
maybe there is something to be said for it.
