No one has been able to answer my question, so I opened it up to a wider audience. That seems reasonable to me, and I meant no disrespect.

After spending a lot of time on Google, I "might" have answered my own question. It looks like the incoming data should be UTF-8, which would be CCSID 1208. I'm going to try the conversion and see if that makes the data intelligible.

I'll also make a web form and do a POST to my webservice.

Justin,

It seems you have threads going on two lists for the same issue. You're also being asked the same questions. :)

Anyhow, put together a simple web for and set it to POST. Debug it and see if the data comes in ok. If not, then something is up with your apache server. If it comes through ok, please post again:

1. The content-type of the data (I believe it should be the same as the content-type when you submit a form)

2. Some of the data? Can we see some of it?

3. What we should be seeing

With this we should be able to tell what might be going on with the data.

Those SQL-functions that are available within the SYSTOOLS schema,
such as httpgetCLOB or httpPostCLOB etc.

For example with httpGetClob you may access a webservice. If it
returns XML you may be able to analyze the result with XML_TABLE, if
it returns JSON, you may analyze the data with JSON_TABLE.

What functions do you have in mind?

Will the new SQL functions do the job?
