John,
You can either use:
yajl_stdin_load_tree()
To read the JSON from a POST or if you prefer to do that yourself and then
use:
yajl_buf_load_tree()
To load the JSON after reading in the data using QtmhRdStin.
I have a few examples of parsing and building JSON using YAJL here:
http://fieldexit.com/forum/thread?groupid=Prog&forumid=POC
There is on example of using QtmhRdStin to read the POST data where the only limit is the size of data you can allocate here:
http://fieldexit.com/forum/display?threadid=142
I believe using yajl_stdin_load_tree() would be the best option. Once you're done with that parsing is the same either way.
