I see... well, there's really not any difference if you're using a web
service or not. JSON is JSON and the YAJL port is by far one of the best
available if not the best.

When you get things working, post some samples for the coolness to be seen
by all. ;)

Brad,
I started using Scott's YAJL port for consuming JSON. This is the first
time I doing a web service and took Jon Class so I want to try open Access
for the cool factor :)

Thanks

No problem, John.

I've actually done this with many customers (both building and parsing
JSON using Scott's YAJL port) so I thought I'd put in my 2cents.. whatever
it's worth to you or anyone else. :)

John,

You can either use:
yajl_stdin_load_tree()

To read the JSON from a POST or if you prefer to do that yourself and
then
use:
yajl_buf_load_tree()

To load the JSON after reading in the data using QtmhRdStin.

I have a few examples of parsing and building JSON using YAJL here:
http://fieldexit.com/forum/thread?groupid=Prog&forumid=POC

There is on example of using QtmhRdStin to read the POST data where
the only limit is the size of data you can allocate here:
http://fieldexit.com/forum/display?threadid=142

I believe using yajl_stdin_load_tree() would be the best option. Once
you're done with that parsing is the same either way.

Jon Paris,
I am working on a proof of concept to handle to move all our JSON
Web service API's to the IBM I,
Do you have a template program for open access to handle JSON
over Http? I took you class at the summit, But not see good example
for handling Web service Traffic.
I will using Scotts JSON API's.
