The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I might be misunderstanding you. If you're looking for a SetGT ReadPE alternative, you could inverse the sort order of your cursor and use fetch next.

Hi, If you want to fetch the 5th row within the result, you may try the following: Exec SQL Fetch Before From YourCursor ; //positions before the first row Exec SQL Fetch Relative 5 from YourCursor ; //reads the 5th row after the current position Mit freundlichen Gr??en / Best regards Birgitta Hauser "Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." I suspect that is because I can not ask the question clearly. The dynamic scroll cursor works for me for first, next, and prior. Very handy. The problem is when I want to start with the cursor positioned at some value greater than first. Lets say, for instance, I want to start the scroll with row number 5, and be able to next/prior to row 6 or row 4. I can't find an explanation or an example. -- This is the RPG programming on the IBM i (AS/400 and iSeries) (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit:
