You could change the OVR scope to job level.

Also it should work if the ILE program is compiled to run *CALLER - of course that might cause other issues.

The app is used to merge spool files.

One of our developers recently updated one of the called programs to be ILE instead of OPM.

This creates a new spool file (which is what I would expect because of the activation group).

If there a way to share that file open between OPN and ILE programs ?

Possible keeping the ILE call in the same activation group ?

Any thoughts appreciated.
