Be aware that you can use SQL HTTP Function to parse xml and you do
not have to create restful or soap service or buy third party product,
HTTPGETCLOB, HTTPPOSTCLOB, maybe the below attachment could help you a
little bit.

Hi

Can you share the specific tasks you need documentation for?
For example:
Do you have a web server set up?
Are you familiar with HTTP?
Yes
Have you written RPG code to handle web requests?
Yes but for rest Web Service and Json documents
Have you used an XML parser on any platform?
No
The point is that if you need help with all of these things, it
is a very different situation than if you only need help parsing
the
XML.

i would need in first, how to configure HTTP server ( i don't know
which are the differences between SOAP and REST HTTP
configuration) and how to write RPG program to capture XML
document and parse it

Thanks in advance
