My current client doesn't have Rdi licenses, I asked them to install my personal license... Waiting for an answer !
I feel like driving a Lada "SEU" when I have been driving in a Lamborghini Veneno "Rdi" all those years.
In the case they denied my request, I will probably going to the next client.

If I may, I'd like to quote Jon from one of his earlier posts:
" I’m a self-employed consultant and that money comes right out of my pocket."
There has been quite a discussion re. the cost of RDi vs. productivity gains. I'd like to pose this question to the community. How much would YOU be prepared to pay out of YOUR pocket for RDi?
Imagine your are a freelancer who is committed to keeping skills vital and relevant. Maybe your current client doesn't have RDi licences. That shouldn't stop you - you have your own licence. If your client won't allow you to install on their kit, no problem. Let's suppose you have an IBM i timeshare account which allows you to "play" out of hours. (Remember, you are committed to keeping your skills vital and up to date.)
How much are YOU prepared to invest in YOUR skills? Would you consider the current cost of RDi a good deal? If not, what would the price point have to be before you'd consider buying it yourself?
Just curious.
Brian.
PS. The UK cost is 862.80UKP for a Single Authorised User Licence.
Subsequent SWMA would be around 200UKP.
