This is what I see on my program:
Service
Program Library Activation Signature
XLPARSER4 XLPARSE36 *IMMED E7D3D7C1D9E2C5D9F4E5F0F1F0F0F0F0
And in the binding directory:
Object Type Library Activation Date Time
XLPARSER4 *SRVPGM XLPARSE36 *IMMED 24/11/14 08:50:31
So it would seem that this is ok.

Subject: Re: XLPARSER4 question
When you create a *PGM and bind in a *SRVPGM, there are two ways to
specify a service program...
You can specify (on either the CRTPGM or as part of a binding directory)
*LIBL/MYSRVPGM or MYLIB/MYSRVPGM
If you include the library, then the library list isn't used at run time
to find the *SRVPGM.
Do a DSPPGM DETAIL(*SRVPGM) and look at the list of service programs, it
will show you if *LIBL or a hard coded library was specified.

Hi everyone,*LIBL.
I'm having trouble with the XLPARSER4 service program.
We have an old version (using POI 2.5.1) our a library on the library
list, and it works, but only for .xls files.
So I wanted to install the latest and greatest version (using POI 3.9)
in a different library so that we can also use .xlsx files.
The problem is now that it's not working. I specify a different
binding directory in the program (XLPARSE36/XLPARSE36) containing the
new XLPARSER4 service program. The XLPARSE36 library is not on the
anything.
When I debug the program and step into the service program, for some
reason unknown to me it opens the *LISTING of the _old_ XLPARSER4
service program.
Anybody have a clue on what I'm doing wrong or how to solve this?
Fiddling with the library list (removing the library with the old
*SRVPGM, adding the one with the new version on top) doesn't solve

There are no java errors in my job log.
Any help would be most welcome.
