Not absolutely sure what you are asking Dutch. Assuming that you are talking about parks being present or not then how you can test it depends on what the caller did.
For example - If the prototype if coded with *OMIT and *OMIT was used on the call, then testing the %Addr of the parm for *Null is the way to go.
If the proto codes it as *NoPass and it was simply left off the call, then you would have to use %Parms to determine if it was present - you cannot rely on the value of the pointer.
If this is not what you mean then can you be a bit more explicit because RPG does not have much of a notion of nulls so the answer in other cases is an “it depends” scenario.
