Is it possible in RPG to display a window when user tab to a

Our process engineering department wanted to know whether it is
possible to do or not in RPG. Our practice is to press F4 key to
display a window. I was just checking if anybody in the RPG world is
doing this kind of stuff in their shop. <<snip>>

Really taxing my memory... But I seem to recall doing something like that for the WRKQRY screen, by using a screen-scraping application [a variant of the CM Mouse utility for the PComm 5250 emulation]. IIRC, effectively the Tab was dynamically replaced by a Tab+F4 macro. The support was activated by the screen-scraping utility having [been "coded" to have] recognized that the active display was the Work with Queries application display; i.e. the utility could be taught to recognize a particular menu\display-panel, and to correlate specific executable actions accordingly [including mouse actions].
