I am not sure why you %subdt. Could you use the %diff bif. It will
return the difference between Two time stamps in what ever unit you want.
Seconds = %diff(time2 :time1 :*seconds)
It will do date, time, and timestamp fields.

A web service requires the time in mili seconds (Unix style).
I calculated the difference between %timestamp() and the beguining of
the "Unix epcoh", adjusted for time zone and winter/summer, then %subdt
the micro seconds and divided by 1000, discard decimals.
It works, but I wonder if there is a more elgant way to get this time.
