How about just using the command:

RMVDIR DIR('/dirname') RMVLNK(*YES) <-if on V5R4 or below
RMVDIR DIR('/dirname') SUBTREE(*ALL) <-if on 6.1 or above

Bear in mind that the RMVLNK parameter won't remove links in file systems that don't allow removal of links in a directory.

By the way, it should be "its contents", not "it's contents" (the possessive form of a personal pronoun does not use an apostrophe). I'm surprised at the number of people that don't know that, especially on this list.

Subject: Delete IFS Folder and it's contents

Has anyone written a program to read an IFS folder and delete all the IFS objects including any sub-folders and their contents they would be willing to share? I would like to delete the IFS folder and everything underneath it.
