Please understand my context. I was refuting the idea that "empty"
and "not empty" are the only tests that make sense for empty strings,
when empty strings are distinct from null.

According to Charles Wilt, even when empty strings are distinct from
null, it doesn't make sense to allow less-than or greater-than
comparisons between empty strings and other values.
