If you look in library QRPGLE you will see the QRN4MAIN program - it has the attribute CLE. This is not a valid source type in PDM, so it's not clear whether it is C or C++. I do know that the SQE engine - not anything to do with RPG - is written in C++ - the SLIC components, that is.

There are no source members specified for the modules that comprise QRN4MAIN - it's very possible they are on a non-i platform and compiled there - lots of the OS is compiled on a mainframe.

Only Barbara knows! Well, maybe a couple others, too.
