Same result. I don't think it is an artifact of edtf because if I mapas
the folder in Windows and view the file, I see the "weird" characters
well in wordpad.wrote:

It seems a character mapping error.... What happens if you use the
value for the curly braces (e.g. } = x'D0' ) ?
