Okay, for now the workaround is to add the prototype. I'm going to wait
for Barbara to comment if she has a moment, and go from there. It's
definitely a support issue at this point, but since I have a workaround
I'm okay with it, especially because it won't nbreak older code (which
by definition has the prototypes in place).
If this is indeed a bug, it's the easiest to deal with - it doesn't
break old code. I can code around it easliy enough. But I am still
really looking forward to coding without prototypes for internal
procedures <grin>.
