What is this? Something called by the trigger program, or is it what you are seeing happen 3 to 5 minutes later? How deep is the jobq that this program is being submitted to? How many jobs can be active in the subsystem or from this jobq at once? Is the job just waiting until the subsystem has an activity level available?

The trigger does run after about 3 to 5 minutes. We don't see any locks happening.

What's the trigger program look like? Is a lock happening? Is the trigger just taking a long time to run? what happens when you put it into debug?

Subject: FILE TRIGGER
I have file with a trigger program attached to it and when a record is
written to this file it is suppose to execute the trigger. Once the
record is written it take a good 3 to 5 minutes to execute the trigger.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
