I'm only at 5.4 but after reading Scott Klement article from April 22,2010
I'm curious about something.
I'm using WDSC and also using a trial version of Rational Developer for
Power Systems version 7.6 with the clock running out but we still have a few
developers that are using PDM and SEU.
My question is at 7.1 the syntax checker for PDM and SEU will be frozen at
6.1. But can you not still exit the source where the syntax checker had
found the 7.1 enhancements and flagged them as invalid. Then just create the
program or module? In other words if the programmers still using PDM and SEU
at 7.1 can they get around it that way and still hang on to using PDM and
SEU? Sure it would be a pain for them but they still could right?
Thanks
