Once the object has been compiled they don't need the binding directory do
they?

If they do I need to reconsider my impending CM for service programs.

Subject: Service programs and binding directories question

Hello all....

Going through the process of incorporating service programs and binding
directories to our ILE development (finally), and we've got a question.

Our current development system has all our development on a separate
iSeries machine where we do our dev and Q/A work. Once Q/A is signed off,
new development objects are moved to the production system.

The question is - can binding directories be saved and restored from our
dev box to our production box? I am assuming yes (it should just be
another object), but would like to verify.

Have a good day.
