Or you can also use STRPCCMD to do this too... just put a call in the RPG
or CL program to run that command, along with the path to the PDF file on
the IFS or PC...
Probably not as slick as Richard's product but certainly a bit less
expensive.

Hello April,
We have a product called the iSeries Office Integrator that can be used
to tie PDF viewing into a subfile option or any other application that
can access a CL command.
The product also supports PDF printing from the IFS or a PC folder as
well as automated PDF document assembly depending on the level of your
need.
You can have the process up and running in less than 30 minutes.
Please contact me or our sales team directly for more info and a FREE
demo.
Regards,
Richard Schoen

subject: View PDF document
All,
Can anyone tell me how to view a pdf document from a green
screen. I have searched the internet over and cannot
seem to find an answer. The only way I believe it can be done
is using STRPCCMD, which I do not want to use if at
all possible. Any help would be appreciated. This will be
selected by entering an option from a subfile, allowing to
print, email, or view.
Thank you,
April
