I have this working by using FTP.

Docmdstring = 'STRPCCMD PCCMD(' + q
+ 'rundll32 url,FileProtocolHandler'
+ ' ftp://' + %trim(FtpRmtSys)
+ %trim(FtpRmtPth) + q
+ ') PAUSE(*NO)';
docmd(docmdstring);

It's a bit cumbersome procedure.
1. Copy the PDF from your IFS to a public dir on a FTP server with a random filename.
2. Issue the above STRPCCMD.
3. Do some cleanup on the FTP server.

This requires anonymous access to the FTP server because it's not
practically having the user logon to the server each time.
Anonymous FTP is an issue regarding security, but Easy400's SECTCP can help.

Hope this can lead you to a solution or getting other members of this list
to enhanced this solution.

Subject: View PDF document

All,
Can anyone tell me how to view a pdf document from a green screen. I have searched the internet over and cannot
seem to find an answer. The only way I believe it can be done is using STRPCCMD, which I do not want to use if at
all possible. Any help would be appreciated. This will be selected by entering an option from a subfile, allowing to
print, email, or view.

Thank you,
April
