The niftiest thing I ever did was a code generator to create getters for
file fields. It seems to cut out 60=70% of the coding requirement for
new development
I Still use it, But im sure there are better examples on the interweb
now

Hey,
I'm an RPG guy sitting next to a JAVA guy.
I asked him if he understood this :
D custIsVld s n
D custNbr s 10 0
/free
custIsVld = (custNbr > 0);
/end-free
Mais bien sur its a booleen, he says.
What about this :
D custIsVld s n
D custNbr s 10 0
/free
if custNbr > 0;
custIsVld = *on;
else;
custIsVld = *off;
endif;
/end-free
Je ne sais pas.
I asked him if what he thought of record level i/o.
He said he didn't know what that meant.
Come to think of it, what does it mean?
