The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

This helps explain some aspects of the observed behaviour. I have
noticed that debug on ILE programs often gets its tits in a tangle.
It used to be that debug didn't interfere with program operation but
in the ILE world it now seems to be more intrusive than in OPM. This
sort of thing happens on other platforms frequently (e.g., run
without debug and error occurs, run with debug to resolve error and
program runs OK).
Even though activation groups are scoped to each job (excluding
shared activation groups) debug does seem to "remember" stuff and
seems to have a "quantum effect" between jobs when debugging the same
program. When debug starts behaving this way for me I just signoff
all sessions and that cleans things up. Shouldn't have to do that of
course but unless repeatable there is little point opening a PMR on it.

Simon Coulter.
