Well then I think my solution would work...

It might not be the 'best' and it doesn't use any fancy UNICODE or anything
like that, but I'm pretty sure it works.

Actually, Adam Glauser's version is probably slightly better since it
accesses array elements directly, so avoids the 'costly' %SUBST...

In that case, we need to go from ZZ99 back to AA01. This is because the
life cycle of a mfg order is very small and by the time a number comes to
existence, the old one is already in history files, so there is no "clash
of keys" scenario...
