Feel free to redirect me to another list, if appropriate.
I've just discovered the QNTC file system which gives my RPG programs the
ability to read/write spreadsheets pretty much anywhere on the network. It
worked great until I gave it to the user. The "opendir" API fails. I
assume she does not have authority to /QNTC. When,as QSECOFR, I couldn't
even grant her (or anyone else) authority with WRKLNK, I gave up and put
the spreadsheet in another user folder on the IFS.
Any ideas why the system will let me (User Class *PGMR) through to QNTC
but not 'regular' users?
