The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Yes, both fields (i.e. the date filed in the DS and the date field on the
table are *ISO).
Changing the compile option makes no difference - BTW that is what the SET
OPTION DATFMT = *ISO is doing so you don't have to change the compile
defaults.
I think Birgitta has identified it as a problem - or at least something that
needs to be documented. BTW Anyone should be able to copy/paste the code I
included and see if it compiles.

Both fields? Regardless, ...
Specify DATFMT(*ISO) on the compile. I am not clear on why
specifying DatFmt(*ISO) on MyDate would not suffice instead, but it
seems not to help. The default from the compile is DATFMT(*JOB), but I
change my default compiles to *ISO.
