On Behalf Of Simon Coulter

Lines of code is a useful estimation tool but a useless productivity
measurement.>>Simon Coulter.

That's not only right on, but some of the worst of the worst programming
code I have ever seen, used twenty times the number of lines of code it
should have. The twenty (20x) is a --conservative-- estimate.

It might be a little better at measuring how much it cost in
programmer-hours to write it, compile it, and implement, but then do the
accounting guys want that, or do they want utility value, or do they
want "saleable" value?

Jay Vaughn has enough to count all the lines now, but that can't be the
only thing they're using to evaluate this is it?
