EDTCDE(X) is offered up quickly and often for this common inquiry,
but generally without anyone ever having stated [what IMO is a *huge*]
caveat; i.e. that the X edit code is *not* /good/ for presentation of
negative values.
I would suggest instead, since the EDTWRD was enhanced specifically
to enable this type of output, one of:
EDTWRD('0 ') if no sign is desired
EDTWRD('0 -') if right negative sign is desired
EDTWRD('0- ') if left negative sign is desired.
