%editC uses a hardcoded value for the editcode. If you need to pass a
variable edit code, someone recently wrote an example using APIs. Google

Partner# 8S 0 and has a value of 00012345

When Statement CONSNO = %CHAR(Partner#); is executed the Value of

CONSNO

is 12345bbb (b=Blank)

How can I get the Value of CONSNO to = 00012345
