RPG is not as bad as COBOL because COBOL code also redefines its global

variables.

COBOL code _can_ redefine its Globals. And so can RPG - there's no
difference.

The big thing that came to light for me in the responses was the number of
people willing to knock RPG when they clearly knew sweet nothing about it -
except what earlier ill informed posts had said.

Sad that the internet while such a great medium for spreading information ,
spreads BS and lies just as quickly!
