Please note that "the same statement" CANNOT run in STRSQL.
That is, the statement that you are showing us has host-variables.
You can't use host variables in STRSQL. Therefore, you must be
typing constant values in.
We can't see how those values are being typed in and we don't see
what the definitions of host variables are in the program.
Perhaps if you showed us precisely what statement 'works', we could
suggest things to look for in your program.
